NAVAL DESIGNER

Archimede Marine Srl, a naval engineering company operating in the naval/yachting field is looking for No. 1 resource as a Naval Designer to strengthen its staff in the Angri (SA) office.
The candidate should have the following characteristics:

Bachelor’s degree in Naval Engineering (master’s degree is a plus);
Excellent knowledge of technical drawing;
Aptitude for design of ship structures (at least 2 years of experience preferred, including creation of executive documentation for production);
Excellent knowledge of 2D/3D modeling with AutoCAD/Rhinoceros (previous experience with Nupas/Cadmatic Hull is a plus);
Familiarity or inclination to perform structural/mechanical calculations; previous experience with FEM software (Femap or related);
Familiarity with stability calculations and hydrostatics software;
Prior experience in the role sought is a plus;

Excellent English language skills;
Aptitude for problem solving.

Working hours: Full time
Level and RAL will be evaluated according to the candidate’s experience.
